To remove one of the strangest old water features we have ever seen with a narrow channel, bath sump and concrete bridge, and create a new feature in keeping with the local surrounding stonework to encourage wildlife and be a warming sight from our clients office window.
Nothing else to say, just do it, although we admit to being challenged by the removal of 4-5 tonnes of reinforced concrete for the tiny bridge and foundations. Bizarre but our loss, and that's life!
Cracking results though, with a bit of a different look with the mixed sandstone, slate and cobbles. Aquatics planted up and all ready for our clients to plant up the banks and borders.
