Classy stone walling feature

The Brief

Our clients had toyed with what could be done to smarten up their small front garden and concrete back wall….

Having seen our work on nearby Project 91, the opportunity was put to us.

The Concept

Front garden; Low maintenance design; membraned, planted, feature rockery stones and gravel.

Rear garden; Charming snaking Alston stone wall, all hand dressed, with planting integral as well as within the raised bed created. Note the tops were kept informal to enhance the charm and planting within the “pockets” created.

A really nice example of our stonework, in lovely November weather until the last 2 days of torrential rain!!
