To design and build a small stream and pond water feature in a limited space and with no natural slope. The aim was to create a haven for local wildlife and make a young man very happy in the process!
Emerging out of a rugged top entrance the water winds down this stream, turning over cobbles and to where it spills over the biggest waterfall and into the pond. The pond itself has integral rocky crops to contain aquatic planting and a hidden filtration system where the pump draws the water through the gravel beach before beginning its circulation back to the top.
It’s one of our best smaller features and has really maximised the space available. The sound of running water near the house is subtle and perfect for the setting, whilst the wildlife set to be brought in by this feature is going to make one young man very happy, thanks J!
