Simple patio and deck

The Brief

A chance meeting with an old friend (who thought we would run a mile, or charge a fortune!), provided the opportunity to transform his current featureless garden into something to look good all year and be usable for all the family.

The Concept

The concept agreed was to create a feature entertaining deck for the afternoon/evening sun, a morning rustic patio, rustic steps and feature trellacing. Softened by mixed shrubs, perennials and small trees, and finished with bark mulch, the result is a lovely simple, classy and now desirable garden for all the family.  All in a week in January!
